The Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) Handball League 2024/2025 roared back into action for its second week after resumption, delivering a weekend of matches on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2, March 2025. Played across two venues—Nyayo and Kaloleni—teams showcased their skills, determination, and competitive spirit in both men’s and women’s categories.
On March 2, standout performances included Bungoma Poly’s solid 36-28 victory over NYS in the men’s category at Nyayo, while Equity dominated Wakanda with an impressive 47-20 win at Kaloleni. All matches went on uninterrupted, with Lions HC suffering a 22-49 defeat to NCPB at Kaloleni. In the women’s category, Amazon struggled against NCPB, falling 9-38 at Kaloleni, but Desert Scorpions secured a narrow 28-30 win over Bungoma Poly at Nyayo.
The action began on March 1 with equally gripping encounters. Wakanda and Hunters ended in a tight 22-22 draw in the men’s category at Kaloleni, while Bungoma Poly edged out Young City 27-25 in another thrilling match. Thika faced a setback, losing 17-33 to Wakanda, also at Kaloleni. In the women’s category, KU narrowly defeated NYS 29-28, and Bungoma Poly and Lions HC finished with a dramatic 30-30 draw.
