About Us
the Kenya Handball Federation (KHF)
Handball boasts a rich history, with international play dating back to 1901.
In Kenya, the sport was introduced in 1969, leading to the establishment of the Kenya Amateur Handball Association (KAHA) in 1972.
Key Milestones:
- Joined the Africa Confederation of Handball (1980)
- Became a member of the International Handball Federation (1982)
- Played a key role in forming the East and Central Africa Handball Federation (1982)
- A founding member of the Commonwealth Handball Association (1985)
